Here’s a list of scrubs that have are effective in reducing cellulite in problem areas.

The Coffee Scrub

For this specific scrub, opt for freshly ground coffee because of its high content of anti-oxidants and caffeine compared to used coffee grounds.

To make the scrub, put around 3 tablespoons of hot water into a bowl and then mix in ¼ cup of ground coffee. Put it aside for 10 minutes, so the coffee absorbs the water and forms a paste. To ensure the grinds hold together, mix in some olive oil, it should make it easier to spread the paste on the body. It also adds some moisturizing properties to the paste.

If you have any sensitive areas, cleanse them in a warm shower. Turn off the water and apply the scrub on to areas with cellulite, rubbing the paste on in a circular motion using either your hands or a washcloth. Do this for 3-5 minutes. If for whatever reason there is any irritation, stop rubbing the paste in more with less pressure.

Coffee beans make an excellent ingredient when it comes to tackling cellulite. It has inflammatory and fat-burning properties which is what makes them so great for tightening skin during and after weight-loss.

The antioxidants and the caffeine present in the coffee can temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite in the short-term. The caffeine also serves as a stimulant which dilates blood vessels. In addition to tightening and toning the tissue, caffeine also enhances circulation while lessening water retention. This helps smoothen the puckered appearance of the skin caused by cellulite. The antioxidants in coffee help with cellulite and in making the skin look healthier generally.
